Ben in Breakenridge, CO

"Breckenridge is a one of a kind place. The mountain resides in a small town a couple hours outside of Denver, in a valley between some truly breath-taking peaks. It has a tight-knit community feel to it and everyone there seems genuinely happy. Last March it snowed 8 inches the day my group and I arrived. I was so excited I barely slept that night at all. We woke up bright and early to make it out there before the crowds so that we could ride some fresh powder lines. All the locals headed straight up the T-bar to the bowls on the top of Peak 9 so we followed suit. To get up there you have to hike to the top of Peak 9 which is not an easy feat considering the slope and altitude. At the summit, you can see the true beauty of Breckenridge and start to understand the scale of this place. From there, you ride the nose over to one of the drop-in spots. We stopped at “Snow White” and took the plummet into the unknown below. It’s such a fulfilling experience because of the hike and the powder brings it to the next level. Any adventure seekers out there should definitely consider this amazing place for Spring Break. The bar scene is also incredible.”
